The Archaeological Museum of Finale Ligure

The Archaeological Museum of Finale, recently moved in the Monumental Complex of Santa Caterina in Finalborgo, has been managed since 1931 by the International Institute of Ligurian Studies.

The exhibition itinerary, through archaeological finds, reconstructions, dioramas and scenographic settings, allows you to rediscover the characteristics of the Finale area from prehistoric times until present day.

In addition to carrying out intense research, the Museum has devised, with the Archaeological Superintendency of Liguria, the “Finale Ligure Archeotrekking” initiative, a series of itineraries and guided visits to archaeological sites, usually not accessible.
