Loano
Loano stands on the Palm Riviera, half way between Genoa and
France; the climate and the beautiful landscape make this small
town the ideal destination both for your summer or winter holidays.
The small town is dominated by Doria Castle, built on the hill
of Costino Monte Carmelo: it has the typical appearance of a
seaside town, with the characteristic houses lined up by the
sea front and the caruggio, the historical centre with
the narrow alleys that open up onto small squares. Loano offers
comfortable beaches, a beautiful promenade with gardens, fountains
and play areas, as well as a growing marina
The Caves of Toirano
Just a short distance from Loano lie the striking Caves of
Toirano, a magnificent spectacle offered by nature. Not to be
missed.
Monte Carmo (1389 m)
The summit, which is a four-hour hike from the bottom, is breathtaking
and a perfect vantage point for admiring the coast and being
captivated by the luxuriant surroundings.
