The pleasures of a holiday in Loano are also those of good cuisine, which can be enjoyed on the table of many restaurants located in every corner of the town. The tradition of Liguria cuisine is found in simple dishes with authentic flavors such as the “Trenette pasta with pesto”, homemade pasta and seasoned with a delicious sauce based on fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, olive oil.

Even the Pansotti (ravioli  with herbs and cottage cheese) or the famous Pasqualina Cake, a rough pasta leaf that curls up with herbs, burgers, eggs, onions, olive oil, salt and pepper. The vegetables are stuffed and baked in the oven.  Zucchini, onions, and peppers are delicately stuffed with a simple filling of potatoes, parsley, basil, garlic, cheese, eggs and aromatic herbs. Even anchovies, typical blue fish of our seas, are occasionally served with a mixture of vegetables, eggs, bread and fried .

The restaurants will give you the opportunity to enjoy a rich variety of local fish baked in the ovenfried or as seasoning of tasty pasta dishes.

All of the dishes can be accompanied by the tasty local focaccia or simple bread seasoned with the exquisite olive oil of our lands.

Not to mention the sweets,  don’t miss  the biscette, sticks with hazelnuts, flour and sugar, chocolate kisses,  fisherman  bread and Loano smiles born from the mix of hazelnuts and white chocolate dipped in dark chocolate and covered with praline granulated grain.
